The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially moved the needle for millions of medical aspirants. The NEET UG 2026 Provisional Answer Key is now live on the official portal. If you appeared for the high-stakes exam on May 3, 2026, you can now download the official PDF to calculate your expected score and verify your responses.

Along with the key, the NTA is set to release the scanned OMR Response Sheets, allowing candidates to see exactly what they marked during the exam.

How to Download NEET 2026 Provisional Answer Key

Follow these steps to access the official solution key immediately:

  1. Go to the official NTA NEET website: neet.nta.nic.in.
  2. On the homepage, click the link titled “NEET Provisional Answer Key 2026.”
  3. A PDF file containing the official answers for all sets (11–14) will open.
  4. Download and save the file to cross-check with your question paper.

Accessing Your Scanned NEET OMR Sheet

The NTA will soon activate the login window for the NEET OMR Sheet 2026. This is a scanned copy of your actual bubble sheet.

  • Login Credentials: You will need your Application Number and Password/Date of Birth.

  • Verification: Compare the OMR sheet with the provisional answer key to estimate your rank before the final results are declared.

How to Challenge the Answer Key (Objection Window)

If you find a discrepancy in the answers provided for Codes 11, 12, 13, or 14, you have the right to challenge them. Note that this is a time-bound facility.

Steps to Raise an Objection:

  1. Login: Enter the candidate portal using your NEET credentials.

  2. Select Question: Click on “Challenge Answer Key” and select the question ID you wish to contest.

  3. Upload Proof: You must upload a clear, supporting document or textbook reference to justify your claim.

  4. Payment: Pay a non-refundable processing fee of ₹200 per challenged question.

  5. Submit: Save the confirmation page for your records.

Expert Note: Only challenges backed by valid academic proof are considered by the NTA panel. If a challenge is accepted, a Final Answer Key will be released, which will be the basis for the NEET 2026 Result.
