CBSE 12th topper 2026 List: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the Class 12 Result 2026. This year, the board conducted the examination across 7,573 centres with the support of over 5 lakh invigilators and 73,500 classrooms. A total of 18,57,517 students had registered for the CBSE Class 12 board examinations, while nearly 98.66 lakh answer sheets were evaluated.
To ensure smooth evaluation, around 70,000 evaluators, 17,500 assistant head examiners, and 3,889 head examiners were deployed across more than 6,000 evaluation centres. CBSE also used around 88,000 computers during the examination and evaluation process. The board offered examinations in 120 subjects this year.

CBSE Class 12 Result: Stats
CBSE conducted the Class 12 board examinations from February 17 to April 10, 2026, while the results were declared on May 13, 2026. This year, the board increased the number of schools and examination centres compared to last year. A total of 19,967 schools and 7,573 examination centres were involved in conducting the exams in 2026, against 19,299 schools and 7,330 centres in 2025.
As per the official data, 17,80,365 students registered for the CBSE Class 12 examinations in 2026, out of which 17,68,968 appeared and 15,07,109 students passed. The overall pass percentage stood at 85.20%.
In comparison, the pass percentage in 2025 was 88.39%, marking a decline of 3.19 percentage points this year.
