The registration of Allied and Healthcare Professionals and Institutions in Jammu and Kashmir will begin soon, as the National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions (NCAHP) is in the final stage of developing and operationalising its online registration portals.
The NCAHP, under the Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, is mandated under the NCAHP Act, 2021 to conduct uniform registration of professionals and institutions across the country. The Commission has already communicated with all State and UT Allied and Healthcare Councils, including J&K, regarding the rollout of the registration portal.
The State Allied and Healthcare Council, J&K has completed necessary preparations and coordination with the National Commission to ensure early implementation once the portal goes live. Meanwhile, the draft regulations governing registration, currently available on the Commission’s official website, are under finalisation and are expected to be notified shortly.
Eligible professionals in Jammu and Kashmir have been advised to keep their relevant documents and details ready to ensure a smooth registration process. Authorities have clarified that no state or UT has initiated registration so far, as the process will be conducted uniformly at the national level.
Further updates regarding the launch date and registration procedure will be communicated in due course. For queries, stakeholders may contact the State Allied and Healthcare Council, J&K offices in Srinagar and Jammu.
