The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education has issued an official notification outlining the syllabi and courses of study for Classes 9 to 12 for the upcoming academic sessions.
According to the board, no changes have been made to the syllabus for Classes 9 and 10, while minor revisions have been introduced for certain subjects in Classes 11 and 12.
The updated curriculum will apply to upcoming academic sessions across different zones of Jammu and Kashmir.
No Changes in Syllabus for Classes 9 and 10
JKBOSE clarified that the secondary-level syllabus will remain unchanged.
The existing syllabus will continue to be followed for:
- Academic Session 2025–26 in the Kashmir Division and Winter Zone areas of Jammu Division
- Academic Session 2026–27 in the Summer Zone areas of Jammu Division
This means students studying in Classes 9 and 10 will follow the same curriculum as the previous academic year.
