SKUAST-K Extends Winter Vacation for Students Till February 9
The Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir (SKUAST-K) has extended the winter vacation for students till February 9, 2026, due to inclement weather conditions and recent heavy snowfall.
According to an official memo issued on January 26, 2026, the extension follows the winter break earlier announced on December 18, 2025. The university clarified that all other directions issued in the earlier order will remain unchanged.
The order has been issued with the approval of the competent authority, keeping student safety in view amid prevailing weather conditions.
